Another Beautiful Kitchen!

I don't usually blog these things, but this Kitchen was on my camera when I down loaded my pictures, and it never ceases to amaze me the beautiful work that my Husband and his helpers produce. They are truly talented guys and bless so many people with their fine craftsmanship! Keep up the good work guys!

The Robbers Come at Night!

This is what happens when you are fast asleep at night. They break a window in the section next to our shop and break a whole in the sheet rock, climb through the attic and down into our shop through our attic access which Paul has now covered with plywood. They ransack the place, take kerosene heater, 2 nail guns, 15 gallons of laquer thinner, the new spray gun, and a few other items. They knock over a can of paint and leave their footprint behind as a great memory, and then load everything into the big installation truck and drive off. They drive out to Ward Gap Rd. and unload the stuff they put in it, but not the installation tools that were all ready in there, and leave the key in the ignition. Prosser PD and Benton County Sheriffs are hot on the case and take pictures of everything, including the employees shoes!! Justin, Devin, and Caleb put the shop back together and make a list of items taken. Things to be greatful for? The many things that they did not take, and for not destroying anything, especially the truck!

Taylor Makes the Front Page!

I took my cub scout group on a field trip to the Prosser Record Bulletin so they could learn how the reporters find out about the stories and how the paper is put together. They took the boys picture when we were there and the next week when the paper came out they were on the front page! Taylor said "Mom, we are on the front page! Isn't that Awesome?" Doesn't get much cooler than that when you are nine!

Cousins Rule!

I wanted to have the cousins picture taken again like we did last year, but unfortunately Trevor was in Seattle. So, here is the gang minus Trevor. I think it is histerical how Victoria is looking at them like they are nuts! Well, they basically are. Good call Victoria!

Thanksgiving Dinner!

Who doesn't love Thanksgiving Dinner? It was extra special this year to have Ron and Jane, and Kyle, Shan, and Victoria here, along with Auntie Esther. Toooo much fun and food made for a Great Day to remember just how truly blessed we are!

Syrup Anyone?

Grannie and Gramps were able to come for the nutcracker and then stay for Thanksgiving. What a treat to have them around for a week! It is a special treat when Grannie makes wrislies (sp). They are like crepes. And then it is always a treat to have Gramps pour High, Low, Medium, or as Kali is recieving Super High Syrup! Grannie and I thought he would miss, but he nailed it dead center!! Thanks for the fun and yummy memories!

The Nutcracker

After many weeks of Saturday practices The Nutcracker finally arrived. Kamille had such a great time being a little mouse and a ginger girl. She made many new friends and strengthened some she already had. Here she is after her performance!

With her friend Alanna Peters - the Lead Arabian

With her friend Sydney and new pal Carly Estey - Lead China girl. As a side note, Kamille and I sat in the pouring down rain to watch Carly in one of her soccer games. Those two have truly become bosom friends!
With her dear ol'Dad!

Civic Duty

Tonight Taylor had the opportunity to start the Pledge of Allegiance for the Prosser City Council Meeting. He was a little nervous, but was very excited about meeting the Mayor Himself Mr. Paul Warden. He was totally stoked about his certificate that he received for performing the duty. Way to go Taylor!

Roasting 'Mallows

Paul's been cleaning out the shop and had a whole bunch of scrap stuff, so he bought a little fire pit thing to burn it up in. It's been a lot of fun gathering in the evenings enjoying the fire and doing a little marshmallow roasting. Kali was taking her turn at "roasting" (burning) her marshmallow!

The Bench

Howard had this bench sitting in his garage, so when Paul helped him move Alissa's stuff home he asked Paul if he wanted it. Paul and the kids finally got ambitous and decided to put it together. Kali felt so grown up working the wrench. Thanks for the great place to sit and chat Howard!

Pumpkin Carving FHE

It's tradition in the Giles family that for Family Home Evening before Halloween we carve our pumpkins. Here are the finished products. Unfortunately I don't have any "during" pictures. I was up to my elbows in "Guck"!

Apple Cider, Anyone?

One of my many memories growing up is making apple cider every fall! Our friends the Hulse's invited us out to their house Friday to make cider with them. My kids were very excited. They have missed not being able to make it since Grandpa Yetter has been gone. Our friends the Buttars were out there as well. We had a great time visiting and tasting the cider and apple crisp that Rachel and the younger girls made for us. Thanks for the great memories and the wonderful Apple Cider!!

My Baby is 3! How can this be?

Kali has turned 3. It seems like just yesterday that I was bringing her home from the hospital. We had a great time with lots of good food and family and friends. As you can see, her new bike was the highlight. She made her Dad stand outside with a flashlight so that she could ride it "right now".

Does anyone know this little girl?

I was getting ready to go to Tawnya and Shad's wedding reception and straightening my hair, when Kali came in and said she wanted hers that way too. I usually give an adamant "NO", but tonight I didn't have any good excuse not to. This is the finished product. I don't like her hair this way because she looks like a completely different child. In fact, when we got to the reception Aunt Lucy was standing across the gym and wondered who's child I was holding!!! Kali loves it. She keeps asking me to show her with straight hair.

The Great Prosser Balloon Rally

We LOVE the "balloon ally" around this house. I was sooo mad when we got to the airport Saturday morning and I had forgotten my camera, so Sunday morning I stood out in the middle of the street in my pj's and slippers and captured this one. We were a little disappointed because they didn't do the night glow, but the kids had fun listening to the steel drum band and doing the LIMBO!!

Kamille Turns 6!

Happy Birthday Kamille. Not wanting to break from tradition Kamille had to have barbeque for her birthday. It kinda gets CRAZY, but all worth the fun. Brady was in charge of the candle application and thought it would be fun to use the whole box to make a number 6. Good job on blowing out all those candles and not catching your hair on fire! We love you Meal!!

Get'cher motor runnin'....Head out on the Highway

Paul wanted to go on a Harley ride, and visit his brother in Utah, so he decided to put the two together. Then he talked to his friend Ron who is a huge Harley rider, and he talked him into meeting him in northern California. They headed up the Pacific Coast Highway to Highway 101 and on home. Six days and 2800+ miles later he arrived home from his adventure with lots of stories and fun pictures.
