Happy Birthday Brady!

Brady turned 12 today! Oh my goodness where does the time go. But considering he's almost as tall as I am and can look me in the eye, I guess I have to face the facts. He wanted to go for pizza and bowling, so we called all the fam, and our good friends the Jensen's and Bro. Durrant, and off we went. We found that we are not exceptional bowlers, but we are very entertaining!!

Family Reunion!

We had a great time at my family reunion this year held at Camp Ensign. It is always fun getting together with cousins and Aunts and Uncles that we haven't seen for a while. the kids had a great time going down the water slide, playing Senior Baseball and waterballoon volleyball in the dark (not the whole game). A HUGE Thanks to by Aunties for all their hard work putting everything together!!

A fun Day at the River

We went to play in the river today. It was Uncle Del's family week, so we picked up Auntie Esther and went to enjoy the sun and smooth water at Vantage! For those of you who know Vantage - that is not a typo - The water was smooth and had been all week! Kali had a great time playing in the water and riding on the boat. When we came back in one time I was talking with my Uncle's and she wanted out of the boat so Uncle Del told her to climb out the back and jump in. "Where?" she said, and he pointed to the back of the boat. Over the seat she climbed and into the water she went! She is like a fish!
Kamille made friends with Jason VanDevender's girls. They had a great time splashing and screaming.
This is my cousin Tod. AKA Brady's tubing puller. I have no idea how many times he took Brady out tubing. Brady is getting much braver and Tod can actually speed up a little bit now!! Unfortunately I didn't take my camera on the boat with me.

Taylor asked Dillon and Dalton if they would burry him in the sand. And since D&D are always up for a challenge they went right to work.

Half way through digging the whole they came upon the rock that Dalton is leaning next to. It took Dillon a little extra muscle, but he did manage to get the rock out of the whole and Taylor in the whole. Thanks guys for playing with my kids and making their day so enjoyable!

Fire, Fire, Hill on Fire!

So I was driving home from Sweet Adelines tonight watching an incredible lightning storm when I get almost home and the whole hill is on fire. It looks like it must have started at the view point and headed down the hill. I took these standing out in the middle of the street in front of my house. Sorry they are blurry, I haven't quite mastered my camera's capabilities. I thought it was cool with the lightning.

Thanks Grandpa & Grandma!

So, the pool is filled! Let the swimming begin! A great big thanks to Grandma and Grandpa. Lizzie has been sick so she didn't get to swim. The others swam for a little while, but it was not extremely hot outside, and the water was "FREEZING". Brady, of course, was the last one out of the pool. Big SHOCKER There!

Girls Camp '08

For any of you who have had the great opportunity of going to girls camp, you know how much fun it can be. We just got back from a week at Camp Zarahemla. We only got rained on twice, and had a few issues with the local chipmunks, but for the most part a fun time was had by all. I was called to be the Stake Specialist over Music. I had 8 Great YCL's who also had great musical talent as well. They did everything that was asked of them. They were where they were suppose to be when they were suppose to be, and they worked very well together! I love getting away for a week and being in nature and feeling the spirit so strong. Only like at girls camp!! I also had the great opportunity of renewing old friendships and making some fantastic new ones! Thanks for the fun you all - Love ya! And a HUGE thanks to my sister Lucy who got the fabulous job of taking my kids for 4 days - You Rock Lusch!!!
My silly friends on CRAZY HAIR DAY! Kim, Kat, Leslie, Karri, Anne, & Melissa

My fabulous Music Group, minus Taylor and Michael. Sydnie, Mandee, Ariel, Me, Whitney, Kaitlin, & Michelle. You girls are so Awesome!
